About Architourge
The people shaping Architourge.
Architourge is shaped by experience across software engineering, systems architecture, security, and the study of how consequential systems are understood and constructed. Its work begins with a central conviction: systemic understanding must precede consequential intervention.
Founder
Matin Mavaddat
Epistemic Architect

For more than two decades, Matin has designed and scaled complex systems, including as a Principal Engineer at Amazon. He founded Architourge to address a recurring problem: increasingly capable people and AI can act on parts of a system without maintaining a coherent understanding of the whole. His work on Epistemic Engineering provides the intellectual foundation for Architourge’s Artificial Apperception approach. He is the sole inventor on two granted patents and is writing a book under contract with Oxford University Press.
